Flat, used batteries can leak and damage the remote
control. Remove the batteries if the remote control is not
being used for a long period of time.
No warranty is given for damage caused by leaking
batteries.
Disposal
Neither the remote control nor the batteries may be
disposed of with domestic refuse, instead they must be
sent for recycling separately via a collection point. By
doing this you are contributing towards reuse and recycling.
Uncoupling the towing vehicle
Secure the towing vehicle against rolling in accordance with
the vehicle instructions.
Secure the caravan against rolling. Engage the
parking brake and / or secure against rolling with
wedges.
Before uncoupling, make sure that there is no
tension on the overrun brake.
Uncouple the caravan from the towing vehicle as usual. Un-
plug the 13-pole plug/ adapter from the vehicle, undo the
breakaway cable, open the drawbar coupling and raise it with
the jockey wheel.
Manoeuvring the caravan
Before using the MoverXT / XT2, read the “Safety
instructions”.
When the caravan is uncoupled, engage the parking brake to
stop it rolling.
Plug the 13-pole plug/ adapter into the safety socket of the
caravan (after unplugging it from the vehicle).
For safety reasons, the MoverXT / XT2 can be operated
only when the 13-pole plug/ adapter of the caravan is
plugged into the safety socket.
If the 13-pole plug/ adapter is removed from the safety
socket, the Mover XT / XT2 immediately stops working.
Switch on the remote control – green LED 4 flashes until the
control unit is ready for operation. If the control unit is not
ready for operation, the remote control switches off after
about 10 seconds.
Press the two buttons (i) for engaging simultaneously, and
engaging will start after approx. 3 seconds (safety delay).
After each engaging process, check the position indi-
cator to make sure that the two drive rollers are
completely engaged. If the rollers are not fully engaged,
repeat the process.
The position indicator shows how far the Mover XT / X2 is
engaged:
1-2: incompletely engaged
3: completely engaged
No number visible: Engagement position

Before manoeuvring the Mover XT / XT2, disengage the
parking brake only when both drive rollers are com-
pletely engaged.
Precise movement in all directions is possible using the con-
trol knob and the slide control.
When the control knob or slide control are released, or if the
radio signal is interrupted or becomes too weak, the caravan
stops moving immediately. Radios and other remote controls
will not start your Mover.
After starting, the MoverXT / XT2 moves at a steady speed
(depending on the position of the slide control). The speed
increases slightly on a downward slope and decreases on an
upward slope.
After manoeuvring the Mover XT / XT2, engage the
parking brake before disengaging the drive rollers to
prevent the caravan rolling.
Switch the Mover off only when the drive units are
completely disengaged.
Move the slide switch on the remote control to the “Off” posi-
tion
to switch the remote control off (the MoverXT / XT2
switches to standby mode).
The side slide switch on the remote control (On / Off) also acts
as an “Emergency Stop switch”. Switch the side slide switch
to “Off” immediately in case of any noticeable problems, e. g.
uncontrolled behaviour of the manoeuvring system.
After manoeuvring, remove the plug/ adapter from the safety
socket.
The remote control can be switched on again only if it
has been switched off for at least 2 seconds. If the re-
mote control is switched off and on again quickly, it remains
switched off.
If the plug is in the safety socket for more than 1 hour,
the electronics switch off and can be reset only by un-
plugging the safety plug and plugging it in again or by switch-
ing the electronics off and on again.
