This document provides assembly instructions and important information for the Tryten S-Series (S1 & S2) Mobile Carts, designed as mobility platforms by Capsa Healthcare. These carts are intended for safe use with tablets or monitors by clinicians or patients in general patient areas, and can also accommodate cameras, speakers, and/or other devices mounted on them. The S1/S2 carts are not intended for home use. The responsible organization should refer to standard 60601-1; assembly of ME SYSTEMS and modifications during the actual service life require evaluation to the requirements of this standard.

Warnings and Safety Information

The manual emphasizes several warnings categorized by severity:

CAUTION (Yellow): Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
WARNING (Orange): Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
DANGER (Red): Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.

Specific symbols and their meanings are also provided:

IMPORTANT: Indicates a situation that does not present any hazard but is very important in maintaining a well-functioning workstation.
ATTENTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which may result in minor or moderate injury.
ELECTRICAL: Indicates an impending electrical hazard which, if not avoided, may result in personal injury, fire and/or death.
CROSS REFERENCE: Indicates more information on a particular subject is found on the page(s) indicated.
INFORMATION: Provides additional information concerning a specific task.
General Warning Triangle: Indicates a general warning.

Electrical Cord Warnings:

The optional power cord is rated for medical use. Connecting the cord to an outlet that is not medical grade (indicated with a green dot) will not ensure grounding protection.
Power cord and workstation are for INDOOR use only. DO NOT OPERATE OUTDOORS.
Keep power cord away from water. DO NOT PLUG CORD INTO OUTLET IF WET.
Inspect power cord before integration. DO NOT USE POWER CORD IF DAMAGED.
Fully insert power cord plug into outlet. DO NOT unplug by pulling on cord. DO NOT remove, bend or modify any metal prongs or pins of power cord.
DO NOT use excessive force to make mechanical or electrical connections.
DO NOT use an electrical extension cord with your workstation.
Properly stow the cord in the cord wrap to avoid potential injury or damage to the plug/insulation.

Additional Safety Warnings:

The responsible organization must refer to standard 60601-1 for requirements applicable to a medical device system.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the equipment must only be connected to a supply main with protective earth.
Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer.
Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
This product can expose you to chemicals including Styrene and Lead which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
DO NOT OPERATE PRODUCT IF WET. If the PRODUCT becomes wet, unplug it immediately, wipe off any excess liquid and allow it to dry before using again.

Additional Tools Needed for Installation:

Scissors for cutting channel cover to length.

Key Assembly Steps:

Receiving the Shipping Box: Unpack the base, hardware pack, handle, accessories, and pole assembly.
Assembling Pole to Base: Attach the pole to the base using four (4) screws and dome washers with the 3/16” Hex L-Key.
Assembling Handle to Pole: Attach the handle to the pole using the 3/16” Hex L-Key.
Universal OmniTab Adjustment: Adjust the universal bracket for standard iPad 9.7. Unlock the Top Slider using keys from the Hardware Pack. Loosen three (3) screws with the 1/8” Hex L-Key from the front of the cover. Pull sliders to the appropriate size, tighten adjustment screws, insert tablet, and push the locking button.
Installing 2nd Set of Sliders for Tablet with Case: Remove four (4) felt pads and four (4) screws holding the cover. Remove cover and three (3) screws holding sliders. Remove four (4) sliders and replace with new set from Hardware Pack. Install three (3) screws holding the sliders. Put back cover and install four (4) screws. Apply felt pads and adjust sliders.
Removing the Channel Strips: Remove one (1) smaller Allen L-Key behind the top of the channel cover to pull out the pole. Reinstall covers after accessories are installed.
S2 Universal OmniTab Installation: Extract the S-Series head from packaging. Assemble the S-Series head using the Torx Security L-Key. Tighten the screw until fully engaged.
Utility Box and Cabling Installation: Install utility box by loosening Z-Nuts, inserting box into extrusion channel, sliding box up or down to desired height, and tightening screws. Open box using Torx Security L-Key, loosen two (2) screws from back of Utility Box until cover swings open. Install 9’ Green Dot Hospital Grade Power Extension Cable. Install tablet’s power cable through hole and up the channel. Close door back in place and re-install screws.
Storing the Power Cord: When the cart is not in use or tablet is not being charged, the extension cord should be wrapped and stored on the unit. Wrap the cable firmly around the upper handle and lower handle cord wraps located on the back of the unit pole.
Device Height Adjustment: Adjust the height of the surface or keyboard tray. The handle may need to be rotated to add more turns. The handle is spring loaded so it can be rotated to a different position to tighten the assembly. With assembly loose, move assembly to desired height. Tighten the handle and lock the device in place by turning the handle clockwise. If the handle cannot turn anymore and the assembly is not yet tight, pull the handle out (image 1), rotate counterclockwise and release handle back in place (image 3) to tighten the assembly. Repeat process until device is fully tightened.
Work Surface Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Remove articulating arm or tall pole with one (1) screw using Torx Security L-Key. Remove extrusion adapter by removing two (2) 1/4” screws with 3/16” Hex L-Key. Slide Work Surface down from top and secure at desired height. Reinstall Extrusion Adapter and Arm.
Supply Caddy & Small Device Holder Installation: The Supply Caddy and Small Device Holder each come in two (2) parts – the Caddy/Holder and the Mounting Bracket. Remove channel cover strip. Install Caddy/Holder bracket with two (2) 1/4” Screws and two (2) Z-Nuts. Adjust bracket to desired height and tighten screws. Slide the Supply Caddy or Small Device Holder onto the Mounting Bracket from above until it snaps in place.
Lockable Lid for Supply Caddy: Loosen Z-Nut from screw but do not remove. Rotate Z-Nut so it slides into the channel. Lower entire lid until it rests on the Caddy. Fasten lid to pole using Torx Security L-Key and turn screw until tight.
Setting Personal Combination Numbers: Factory combination is 0-0-0. Combination must be set on opening numbers prior to resetting. Find a hole on the outer ring for code reset. Rotate lock until reset button comes into view. Push pin with paper clip or small pin and keep it pushed in. Set numbers to desired combination. Release button and your new combination is set. To lock, rotate to ‘locked’ position, rotate one or more dials. To unlock, rotate dials to personal combination and ‘unlock’.
Fixed VESA Bracket & Monitor Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Install bracket to extrusion with two (2) screws and two (2) Z-Nuts. Ensure the thicker section of the bracket is mounted at the top. Install VESA plate to bracket with four (4) button head screws. Install Monitor to VESA plate with four (4) mounting screws (not included).
S2 VESA Plate Installation: Install VESA Mount Plate to adapter with four (4) Button-Head Screws. Install monitor or device to VESA Plate with four (4) mounting screws (not included).
Wire Basket Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Loosen two (2) Z-Nuts but do not remove, place Z-Nuts into the extrusion channel, move basket to desired height. Tighten wire basket to extrusion with two (2) screws and two (2) Z-Nuts.
Poly SY20 Speaker Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Loosen T-Nut but do not remove, place T-Nut into the extrusion channel, move bracket up or down to desired height. Tighten bracket to extrusion with screw and T-Nut. Slide speaker back ridge into the fixed bracket, slide clamp bracket onto speaker and align two (2) screw holes. Install and tighten two (2) screws.
Butterfly Bracket Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Slide inner bracket into outer bracket until the two (2) screw holes line up. Insert two (2) screws into holes and thread two (2) nuts onto the two (2) screws but keep loose. Place Z-Nuts into the extrusion channel, move bracket up or down to desired height. Tighten bracket to extrusion with two (2) screws and two (2) Z-Nuts. Slide charger onto bracket until firmly in place.
Speaker Mount for Jabra 410-510: Remove channel cover strip. Remove screw and cap using Torx Security L-Key. Install Jabra 410 and 510 Bracket to extrusion with screw and Z-Nut. Install speaker by sliding speaker ledge into bracket lip with wire either at top or bottom. Re-install cap and screw using Torx Security L-Key.
JBL Charge 4/5 and Flip 4/5 – Bracket & Speaker Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Install JBL Charge bracket to extrusion with two (2) screws and two (2) Z-nuts. Remove screws and cap using Torx Security L-Key. Install speaker by sliding speaker ledge into bracket lip. Re-install cap and screw using Torx Security L-Key.
Arm Travel Limiter Installation: Remove channel cover strip. Install Travel Limiter bracket to extrusion with two (2) screws and two (2) Z-nuts. Slide bracket up until it stops. Tighten 2 screws using Hex L-Key.
