Chapter 3
20
If the instrument is programmed to wait before logging, it will show a
“PROG DELAY” screen with the current time/date and the
programmed start time/date. If the starting time/date is more than one
minute in the future, the instrument will turn off the pump and laser in
order to save power.
The “PROG DELAY” screen will disappear
after a few seconds and “PROG DELAY”
will flash briefly once every two seconds to
show that the instrument is waiting to start.
If a key is pressed while the instrument is
waiting, it will show the full “PROG DELAY”
screen again.
Program logging mode uses start and stop time/date, logging interval,
test length, number of tests, and wait time between tests programmed
in using TrakPro software. If the aerosol Response Concentration
feature is enabled (set in the Response Concoption of the
SETTINGS menu), the logged data file will include both mass
concentration and response concentration.
While data logging is active, the screen can be toggled back and forth
between the LOGGING DATA menu and the screen saver. The
LOGGING DATA menu displays:
Real-time aerosol mass
concentration
Real-time aerosol
response factor
concentration (if enabled)
Which logging mode is
being used
Battery life remaining
8-hour Time Weighted
Average (TWA), if available
Time spent logging
Time of day
Current date
Log interval
Use the ▲ ▼ keys to scroll down/up the LOGGING DATA menu to
view menu items that are off screen.
The AM520/AM520i displays the “Logging
Data” screen saver after a user-selectable
delay, or if (ENTER) is pressed. It can be
toggled back and forth between the
LOGGING DATA menu and the screen
saver using the (ENTER) key.
