3. Clean the impactor inlet and
impactor disk with a clean lint-
free swab or microfiber cloth and
light solvent. Gently blow
impactor body dry with
canned/pressurized clean air or
allow to air dry. Use a lint-free
swab or microfiber cloth to clean
impactor well inside the
instrument case to remove
accumulated particles.
WARNING
To prevent driving
contamination into the optics,
never blow air directly into the
sample inlet opening of the
AM520/AM520i.
4. Apply 1 to 4 drops of oil to the
top of the impactor disk
(collection plate). Wipe off
excess oil if necessary.
5. Slide the impactor disk into the
impactor well until it is seated.
