3. Turn the adjuster nut in clockwise direction for reducing
free play or in anti-clockwise direction for increasing
free play of the front brake lever.
Brakes are items of personal safety and should always be
maintained in proper condition.
Avoid using front brake alone while cornering.
WARNING
Rear brake
1. Measure the free play of the rear brake at the lever end
as shown in the figure. The distance measured should
be 10 ~ 15 mm.
2. If the measured distance is more than the limit, adjust
the nut provided at rear wheel end to obtain correct
play.

Check both the brake play periodically. However the brake play
needs to be adjusted more frequently depending upon the usage.
WARNING
Brake shoe wear indicator
When brake is applied, wear limit index mark on the front
brake cam (1) should be within the wear limit indicator (2) on
the front brake panel.
