Overview
The Software House TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal is an interactive card reader with connectivity through a RS-485
interface. Smart mode protocol supports AES-256 encrypted communication between the TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal and
the IP-ACM v1, IP-ACM v2, and iSTAR Ultra G2, Ultra G2 SE, and iSTAR Edge G2.
The TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal supports the following features:
■ An interactive LCD touchscreen.
■ A built-in passive infrared sensor (PIR) to detect motion in front of the reader. The LCD display dims when motion is not
detected for a period of 2 minutes.
■ Indoor and outdoor installation.
■ Two supervised inputs, dual tamper, and two solid state outputs.
■ Access validation by PINand card.
■ Keypad Commands.
■ Keypad Scramble.
■ RM mode protocol supports: iSTAR Classic, Pro, eX, Edge, Ultra, Ultra SE, Ultra Video, Ultra LT, Ultra G2 and Edge G2
controllers.
■ Smart mode protocol supports: iSTAR Ultra, Ultra SE (in Ultra mode), Ultra G2, Ultra G2 SE, Edge G2, and Ultra LT
connected to an IP-ACM v1 or IP-ACM v2.
NOTE
• Smart mode is supported with controller firmware version 6.5.0 and higher, and on C•CURE 9000 version 2.60 and higher.
• Smart mode can only be used on one reader per port.
UL compliance information
The TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal has been evaluated to ULC60839-11-1 (Grade 2). Outdoor use has not been evaluated to
ULC60839-11-1. Optional ULC 60839-11-1 requirements have not been evaluated by UL.

The following features were not evaluated by UL:
• Positive Infrared (future feature)
• Smart mode protocol
