TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal Installation Guide 20
Keypad scramble
Keypad scramble is a feature available in the TST-100. It offers a high security option for covert code entry. The LED displays
randomly allocated set of numbers from 0 to 9. The position of the numbers change every time you activate the keypad so that
only the user standing directly in front of the keypad can see the scrambled digits. This prevents onlookers from detecting the
PIN when entered on the keypad.
You can enable this functionality on the TST-100 for either RM or Smart mode. For RM mode, you can enable the keypad
scramble on the TST-100 hardware. For Smart mode, you can enable the keypad scramble for a TST-100 in the C•CURE 9000
Administration Station.
