Removing the front trim
The TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal ships with a cardboard insert between the front trim and the unit. This stops the front trim
from engaging with the unit during shipping. Remove this cardboard insert to completely engage the front trim to the TST-100
unit.
Removing front trim after installation
You can remove the front trim from a TST-100 Touchscreen Terminal for field maintenance or upgrades.
NOTE
Do not use a metal tool to remove the front trim as they may damage the integrity of the external enclosure.
Ensure the tool does not compromise the IP rating of the enclosure.
1. Locate the small notch halfway down the left side of the reader.
2. Place a plastic trim-removal tool in this notch and carefully lever the front trim from the unit to remove it.
