In RM protocol mode, this method reports:
■ Short
■ Normal: 1K for Normally Open, 1K for Normally Closed
■ Alert: 500 ohms for Normally Open, and 2K for Normally Closed
■ Open: >30K
■ Line Fault: Any unexpected value usually due to wrong value or fault resistors
In Smart protocol mode, the data state resistances can be configured from the host, using the same resistance wiring
configurations that are available for the I/8-CSI and the IP-ACM v1 or IP-ACM v2.
