What to do if my Utilitech Water Pump will not deliver water or develop pressure?

If your Utilitech Water Pump isn't delivering water or developing pressure, there might be several reasons. First, ensure the pump casing is filled with priming water. Second, check for leaks in the suction line and repair or replace if necessary. Third, if the discharge line is closed, open the ball valve and some outlets or faucets to allow air to escape. Also, make sure the suction line or valve isn't closed; if it is, open it. Lastly, a leaking foot valve should be replaced, and a clogged suction screen needs cleaning or replacement.
