NEW CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE INSTALLATION: Turn off power source. Review all
safety precautions.

1. Attach the duct connector (F) to the fan housing (A).
2. If spacing between joists is 12 in. apart, use 4 long wood
screws (AA) to attach the fan housing (A) to the ceiling
joists.
NOTE: Suspension brackets are not needed.

3. If spacing between joists is 16 in. - 24 in., insert
suspension bracket I (C) into the bracket cover on
the duct connector side. Then, attach suspension
bracket II (D) and suspension bracket III (E) to the
back of the fan housing (A).

4. Secure the fan housing (A) to joist with suspension
brackets (D, E) using long wood screws (AA).

5. Secure the suspension brackets (D, E) to fan housing (A)
using short machine screw (BB).
