10.2. Cleaning the UVD Robot
Maintenance caution!
● Unplug the charger and ensure that the robot is off before cleaning
● Do NOT use alcohol based products as they can damage plastic coatings over time,
use cleaning detergents instead.
● Do NOT use compressed air to clean the robot.
● Do NOT clean the reflector on the tower, it is highly polished aluminium and will get
scratched easily if touched
Pay attention to cleaning the top part of the skirt at the bottom of the robot. Use a clean dry or
slightly damp microfiber cloth to clean and be extra careful around the scanners at the corners
of the robot.
The cord and the charger may only be dry-dusted.
Clean the outer sides of the robot with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Clean the
wheels, removing the dirt with a slightly damp cloth and make sure nothing is entangled in
them.
White surfaces on the robots should be cleaned at least on a weekly basis.
Do NOT clean the reflector behind the UVC lamps as even the best of the cleaning cloths will
leave a scratch on it.
Keep the tablet clean. Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean this appliance.
10.3. Professional maintenance and service
Only technical service and qualified personnel who have been trained by UVD Robots may
install, disassemble or repair the product.
To ensure the optimal performance of the robot it is recommended to undergo annual service
by a UVD Robots certified technician.
For service and maintenance please contact your local distributor and specify the number or
serial number of your robot for future reference.
