Audio commands
The base command audio is used to control audio behaviors.
This section covers the audio subcommands:
volume
mute
route
crosspoint-gain
Audio mute
Sets or gets the current state of audio muting on the specified channel.
Synopsis
audio [channel] mute {get | on | off | toggle}
Channel
master
Applies the command to all audio channels.
line_out_1 through
line_out_4
Applies the command to the specified audio line out (line out
1, 2, 3, or 4).
easy_mic_1 through
easy_mic_4
Applies the command to the specified EasyMIC microphone.
usb_playback
Applies the command to the USB playback line (input data).
hdmi_in
Applies the command to the HDMI IN line from the computer
connected as the PC input.
line_in_1 through
line_in_4
Applies the command to the specified audio line in.
usb_record
Applies the command to the USB record line (output data).
hdmi_out
Applies the command to the HDMI OUT line.
Options
get
Returns the mute setting of the specified channel.
on
Mutes the audio for the specified channel.
off
Unmutes the audio for the specified channel.
toggle
Changes the mute state for the specified channel – unmutes if
it was muted, mutes if it was not.
Examples
audio master mute get
Returns the current mute state for master audio.
audio line_in_2 mute on
Mutes the audio from line in 2.
