V-Module Kit (GV60VM)
Hardware
The GV60VM kit consists of:
• V-Module
AC power cable
Receiver connector cable
See "Hardware Requirements" on page 2 for full
details.
Removing an Old V-Module
Only carry out these steps if removing a V2 or earlier
V-Module.
1. Disconnect power to the power receptacle.
2. Disconnect the AC plug from the power receptacle.
3. Disconnect the fan cable (if installed) from the fan
port.
4. Disconnect the light cable (if installed) from the light
port.
5. Disconnect the cable from the MODULE port on the
Receiver.
6. Remove the old V-Module with AC power and Re-
ceiver cables.
Installing the V-Module
See "Wiring Diagram" on page 4 for details.
1. Disconnect power to the appliance.
2. Connect the AC power cable's Molex connector to
the POWER terminal of the V-Module.
3. Plug the power cable into the replace's AC recep-
tacle. The receptacle is located inside the replace in
the bottom left corner.
4. Connect one end of the V-Module's Receiver termi-
nal cable (white connector) to the MODULE Port on
the Receiver, and the other end to the V-Module.
5. Connect the fan/light Molex connectors (if appli-
cable).
6. Attach Velcro and place the V-Module as close to the
location indicated in the diagram below as possible,
inside the bottom of the replace.
Proceed to Remote Kit (RCK400).

Note
The V-module should be placed as close to the
Receiver as possible depending on your replace.
Note
This Section only applies to 1100I/J, 1150I/J,
1400I/J, 1400K, and 1100M replaces, those with
an incompatible V-Module (V2 or earlier), or
those lacking a V-Module entirely. Skip this page if
this does not apply.
