4.2 Maintenance
VATECH requires periodic constancy tests to ensure image quality and the safety for
the patient and operator.
Only VATECH authorized technicians can perform inspection and service of this
equipment. For the technical assistance, contact VATECH service center or your local
VATECH representative.
Cautions and Notes
DO NOT keep the equipment or its parts in a humid place or near a
liquid substance.
Avoid placing the equipment near chemical storage and gas-filled
storage facilities.
When the equipment is not in use for a long time, fully charge the
battery and remove it from the device before storage.
It is recommended that you charge the battery every six month during
storage.
4.2.1 Maintenance Task Checklist
Always turn off the equipment before performing any maintenance.
Tasks Period
Before operation, ensure that the equipment is clean and ready
for use.
Daily
After using the equipment, make sure that the equipment has
been turned off.
Daily
Wipe the outer covers of the equipment with a dry cloth at the
end of each day’s operation.
DO NOT use detergents or solvents to clean the
outer covers of the equipment.
