Regenerative Braking
Warning
In the case of extreme temperatures or
if the high-voltage battery is almost fully
charged, the brake force of the engine
braking may be temporarily reduced. If
the braking force is not sufficient, the
driver must be prepared to use the
brake pedal.
Warning
Depending on the engine braking force
the brake lights are illuminated.
BEV: Regenerative braking generates
electrical energy resulting from engine
braking to charge the high-voltage
battery.
