The high-voltage battery can be charged
at a domestic electrical outlet. Connect
the charging cable to the vehicle's
charging port and to the domestic
electrical outlet.
PHEV: Charging time takes approx.
seven hours and five minutes.
BEV: Charging time takes approx. 30
hours.
Charging Cable
Depending on the charging type, different
charging cables are used.
Warning
Improper use of portable charging
cables may cause a fire, electrical
shock or burns, and may result in
damage to property, serious injury or
death.
● Do not use extension cables, multi-
outlet power strips, splitters, earthing
adaptors, surge protectors or similar
devices.
● Do not use an electrical socket that is
worn or damaged, or one that will not
hold the plug firmly in place.
● Do not immerse the charging cable
into any liquid.
● Do not use an electrical socket that is
not properly earthed.
● Do not use an electrical socket that is
on a circuit with other electrical loads.

Never leave children unattended near
the vehicle while the vehicle is charging
and never allow children to play with
the charging cable.
If the plug provided does not fit the
electrical outlet, do not modify the plug.
Arrange for a qualified electrician to
inspect the electrical outlet.
Do not put fingers into the electric
vehicle connector.
