the CANcaseXL log operates as usual CAN/LIN interface between
a PC and the bus. Messages can be received and sent over both channels with
suitable tools equal to the CANcaseXL.
Logger Mode The
Logger Mode enables the PC independent usage of the CANcaseXL log and
allows the logging of CAN and LIN events. For this purpose the CANcaseXL log must
be unplugged from the USB connector of the PC. The voltage supply is done
externally by the Binder connector.
Note: Logger Mode configuration For the the additional tool XL log Config is
available (see manual on the installation CD under \Drivers\CANcaseXL
\Tools\XL_log_Config_UsersGuide.pdf
).
Warning: During logging the CANcaseXL log may not be connected to the PC via the
USB cable, since the Logger Mode would otherwise be exited! However the
CANcaseXL log must be in the Interface Mode to configure the
LoggerMode.
