In Windows Vista it not possible to install the drivers from a network drive. If you
got your update from the Vector product page in the internet, please copy the files to
your local hard drive.
2.2 Drivers
Driver sources All files needed for the installation are located on the Installation CD in the related
product folders.
Examples for driver sources
CD:\Drivers\CANcardXL\Windows_2k_XP_Vista

Screenshots The screenshots in this installation instruction are provided only as examples. Hence
the depicted device names may differ from your installation.
Version numbers If you intend to run several different Vector devices simultaneously and under one
operating system on your PC, the driver with the lowest version number must be
installed first! The driver version can be found in the file readme.txt in the
respective driver folder on the Installation CD.
Info: The driver is not signed by Microsoft. If a message appears during driver
installation related to signing, click on the [Yes] button and resume the installation.
For further information on the use of different Vector devices on one PC please refer
to your Installation CD under:
\Drivers\Important_Notes.pdf
