3.2 Principle of operation
VEGAPULS 31 is a radar sensor for continuous level measurement. It
is suitable for liquids and solids in virtually all industries, particularly in
the water and waste water industry.
The instrument emits a continuous, frequency-modulated radar signal
throughitsantenna.Theemittedsignalisreectedbythemedium
andreceivedbytheantennaasanechowithmodiedfrequency.The
frequency change is proportional to the distance and is converted into
thellingheight.
3.3 Adjustment
On-site adjustment of the device is carried out via the integrated
display and adjustment unit.
Note:
The housing with display and adjustment unit can be rotated 330° for
optimum readability and operability without tools.
Devices with integrated Bluetooth module can be adjusted wirelessly
