4.7 INPUT CONFIGURATION
4.7.1 INPUTTING EXTERNAL VERIPOS RTCM
The LD8 is capable of utilising corrections from an external source of VERIPOS RTCM data.
To input external corrections, it is required to issue two commands to the unit. These two commands will
configure the required baud rate of input and then set the port for decoding of VERIPOS RTCM data. These
commands are SERIALCONFIG and INTERFACEMODE.
The example commands below show configuration of COM1 for input of VERIPOS RTCM data, with a baud
rate of 115200:
SERIALCONFIG COM1 115200 N 8 1 N OFF
INTERFACEMODE COM1 VERIPOS_RTCM NOVATEL ON
4.7.2 INPUTTING RTK CORRECTIONS
The LD8 is capable of utilising corrections from a source of RTK correction data. For the corrections to be
accepted by the receiver they must be either RTCM v2, RTCM v3 or CMR format.
To input external corrections, it is required to issue two commands to the unit. These commands will configure
the required baud rate of input and then set the port for decoding of correction data. These commands are
SERIALCONFIG and INTERFACEMODE.
The commands shown below, show configuration of COM1 for input of RTK RTCM v2 data with a baud rate of
115200:
SERIALCONFIG COM1 115200 N 8 1 N OFF
INTERFACEMODE COM1 RTCM NOVATEL ON
The table below shows the variables required to change for the desired RTK correction format:
