Special industrial appliances Microdispensing by free jet method
In numerous industrial applications smallest reproducible drops of different media need to be placed on a
target with difficult to reach POD (point of dispensing). This can often only be processed with a
MicroDispensing System of the MDS 3000 family allowing industrial automation and sufficient speed and
precision. With the possibility of external triggering a MicroDispensing System is seamlessly integrated into
almost every superior control system (e.g. PLC).
1.3. Machining
All components of MicroDispensing Valves, control units and heating are manufactured by state-of-the-art
production machines and are carefully monitored by most modern measuring instruments. The long-term
experience of Vermes Microdispensing and its staff dealing with piezo-based electronic actuators and
controllers guarantees highest functionality and product quality.
All components of the MDS 3000 series are subject to extensive final checks following the manufacturing;
furthermore they undergo a thorough cleaning process.
All finished MicroDispensing System components are bedded dust-proof and protected against harmful
environmental influences.
1.4. Product line MDS 3000
The MicroDispensing Systems of the MDS 3000 family are composed of various piezo-based Micro
Dispensing Valves (MDV series), a MicroDispensing Control Unit (MDC series) and optional supply units
(MDX series).

To cover a wide range of viscosity Vermes Microdispensing developed three different types of valves,
which can be used depending on the viscosity of the media.
MDV 3010A: for low viscous fluids (water-like fluids)
MDV 3020A: for low and medium viscous fluids (e.g. ink, honey-like fluids)
MDV 3200A: for high viscous fluids (e.g. grease, pastes)
MDV 3200F: for high viscous fluids and small dots (e.g. grease, pastes, adhesives)
