Impeller inspection
• Inspect the impeller for damage.
• Replace the impeller if necessary.
Re-install the impeller
• The impeller should be lubricated with
glycerin or a non-petroleum based
lubricant such as a silicone spray
before fitting it into the impeller hous-
ing.
• Fit the impeller to the pump shaft. (if an
existing impeller is re-used, install it in
the same position as removed).
Replacing the pump cover
• Replace the cover with a new gasket.
• Check the water filter and open the sea
cock.
Raw water pump inspection
Every 1000 operating hours.
