8.7 Decommissioning
If the UV system is not used for a longer period of time (more than two weeks), it must be switched off
completely.
Concerns
Required work
Control panel
Switch off the main switch on the control panel of the UV system and
lock it with a lockable lock
Irradiation chamber
Close the water supply and drain of the UV irradiation chamber
Empty the irradiation chamber
Clean the irradiation chamber internally
Rinse the irradiation chamber with clean water
Remove all water residues from the irradiation chamber
