Before cleaning
Higher risk when cleaning the equipment
When cleaning, there is a higher risk of personal injury.
Attention when carrying out cleaning work protects your own and
others safety.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious injuries.
Therefore, do the following before cleaning:
• Check the nearest area around the machine.
• Disconnect the tractor's P.T.O.
• Take the pressure off the hydraulic system and disconnect it from
the tractor.
• Activate the hand brake and stop the tractor.
• Remove the ignition key from the tractor.
• Use the proper climbing units of the machine.
Disconnect the power when cleaning the machine
Always disconnect the power before you start cleaning the machine.
This will prevent short-circuiting and damage to the electric circuit.
There is a risk of burns and other serious injuries if the electrical
systems short circuit.
Protect your body and face when cleaning the machine
Wear proper protection gear on body and face when cleaning the
machine.
It will protect your body and face from dirt and oil splashes.
Insufficient protection of body and face can lead to severe skin and
eye injuries.
Before starting cleaning the machine do the following:
• Open all guards around the cutting unit.
• Remove all loose material from the machine.
