10. Thoroughly clean the counterbore.
11. Lightly oil the new O-ring seal. Slide theO-ring seal over the valve spool and insert it in the
seal counterbore.
12. Replace the back-up washer, seal retainer, and seal the plate retainer.
13. Re-attach all parts connected to the spool (handle, linkage, etc.).
7.11 SPARE PARTS AND WEARING PARTS
Any mechanical installation is always subject to wear and tear. Keeping a limited number of crucial
parts in stock is advisable to avoid costly downtime.
The installation mainly includes unique and complex components that you should always replace
with similar ones, such as knives and bearings.
Order spare parts by referring to the parts list.
Always state the correct make, type, and part number when ordering.

When ordering spare parts, you must always have the following information:

◼ Machine type.
◼ Machine serial number.
◼ Part name.
◼ Part number.
You can find the machine name and serial number in the EC Declaration of Conformity in chapter 1
of this Manual or on the CE Type plate.
