8 TRANSPORT, STORAGE, AND ENVIRONMENT
8.1 Transport and Storage
Essential Rules for Transport:
◼ Keep the machine in the shipping package before installation.
◼ Protect packages from heat or direct sunlight.
◼ For transportation, always use a wooden mounting frame.
◼ Use proper lifting equipment, a fork truck, or a hand pallet jack.
◼ Always transport the equipment without mechanical shocks, knocking, or jolting.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
• To prevent severe damage to the tractor, read and follow the
instructions on the following decal:
• ENGAGE BOTH SAFETY LOCKS WHEN TRANSPORTING THE BACKHOE.
• TRAVEL SLOWLY OVER ROUGH TERRAIN.
• WHEN TRANSPORTING ON TRUCK AND TRAILER.
Lower the boom so the bucket rests firmly on the bed. Apply restraints to
the tractor. Not to Backhoe or Backhoe attaching kit.
