Function monitoring with supply temperature reading
Proper functioning of the heating system is monitored by comparing the required and the actual supply temper-
atures.
A fault message is displayed if, within an adjustable period, the supply temperature does not reach the required
value less the adjustable tolerated temperature deviation. The control unit remains in normal mode.
The fault message will be removed if the supply temperature rises above the required supply temperature less
the tolerated deviation.
Nominal value (multiple-boiler control unit)
Tolerated (negative) deviation from the required supply temperature.
The supply temperature must reach the required value within the adjustable period
(less the tolerated deviation).
Freeze-up protection with supply temperature monitoring
If the supply temperature drops below 41 ºF/5 ºC, the supply temperature will be held at the adjustable
minimum value.
Nominal value (multiple-boiler control unit)
If there is a risk of frost, the supply temperature will be held at least at the adjustable
value.
Freeze-up protection with outdoor temperature monitoring
Condition: ”Frost protection Yes” must be configured (see page 26). The supply temperature will be held at the
adjustable minimum value (see ”Freeze-up protection with supply temperature monitoring”) if the outdoor tem-
perature drops below 37 ºF/3 ºC.
The freeze-up protection function is cancelled if the outdoor temperature rises above 39 ºF/4 ºC.
Operating details (multiple-boiler control unit)
The freeze-up protection function is activated because of a low outdoor temperature.
