2. Water installation
The water and drain installation must comply
with local regulations.
3. Electrical installation
Whirlpools are designed „for domestic use“ (in-
cluding hotels, residential homes etc.) and meet
the relevant EN-VDE regulations. They are not
for medical use.
The electrical installation may only be carried
out by a licensed qualifi ed electrician.

The electricial installation must be in com-
pliance with DIN VDE 0100-701 and/or IEC
60364-7-701.

Also, national variations and the techni-
cal connenction conditions of the local
electricity supply company (ESC) must be
observed.
■
The whirlpool system is designed for an AC
voltage of 230 V~AC, 50/60 Hz, 2 kW.
■
The whirlpool system must be supplied
with power via a separate electric circuit
supply and protected with 10 A time-lag
fuse in accordance with the power con-
sumption as specifi ed on the type plate. No
other consumers may be diverted from this
circuit.

A separate RCD (residual current device)
with a rated difference current 30 mA
must also be installed for the whirlpool. The
protecting switch FI type B (RCCB) earlier
connected separately must meet the bind-
ing regulations included in the DIN EN/VDE
norms. Combined quick-acting / time-lag
switches (RCBO) with integrated overload
protection devices can also be used if pre-
ferred. The RCD must be tested regularly
for function and effectiveness.

In the permanently laid installation in the
bath, a universally polar isolating main
witch must be fi tted with at least 3 mm
contact distance for switching off the
system generally and isolating it from the
mains. The user must be made aware of
the separate means of disconnection.
When the whirl system is not in use, it is
recommended that the connection from the
whirl system to the mains supply is inter-
rupted at the main residual current device.
