Bottom clamp adjustment
When the bottom clamp is correctly adjusted, the V notch on the
bottom clamp knob (4) should be just before the 12 o’clock (vertically
upwards) position when the clamp is fully applied. If it is necessary to
adjust the bottom clamp, proceed as follows:

Remove the hole plug (1). Remove the screw (2) and washer (3)
securing knob (4) to the spindle (5).
Remove the knob and turn the spindle (5) clockwise until nger-tight.
Replace the knob (4) on the spindle (5) so that the ‘V’ notch on the
clamp knob is within the limits shown.
Degrease screw (2), coat with Loctite 222E and secure knob with
washer (3) and screw (2). Replace hole plug (1).
