Installation

Preparing the range hood
□ Remove the lter from the fume hood (A) by removing the
screw from the retaining clip.
□ Remove the four screws from the cover on the range hood (A).
□ Release the upper half of the cover from the range hood (A).

Removing the range hood cover
□ Rotate the range hood (A) cover clockwise slightly to release it
at the bottom.
□ Remove the cover from the range hood (A) and set it aside for
later.

Marking the wiring hole location
□ Determine and clearly mark a vertical centerline on the wall
and cabinet bottom.
Centerline

Wiring through the top
□ Mark a line distance from the right of the centerline on the
underside of the cabinet. Mark the point on this line that is 2 in.
(5 cm) from back wall. Drill a 1-1/4 in. (3.2 cm) diameter hole
through the cabinet at this point.

Wiring through wall
□ Mark a line distance from the right of the centerline on the
underside of the wall. Mark the point on this line that is 7⁄8 in.
(2.2 cm) from the underside of the cabinet. Drill a 1-1/4 in. (3.2
cm) diameter hole through the rear wall at this point.
