    • A
      Adrian PageAug 18, 2025
If the display of your VISTEON Control Unit reads CrSd, this may be due to cut SCP wires. To resolve this, check the communication lines and replace the wiring harness. If the communication lines are okay, replace the APCM.

Why does my VISTEON AUXILIARY IDLE Control Unit display read "OFF"?
    • M
      Mark RobinsonAug 20, 2025
If the display of your VISTEON Control Unit reads "OFF", it might be because Custom RPM Control is programmed and the input voltage is either less than 0.5 Volts or greater than 4.5 Volts. You should check the custom input circuit power and look for opens and shorts in the custom input circuit. If Custom RPM Control is not desired, reprogram the module.

Parking brake set 2. Clutch engaged (foot off) or transmission in PARK 3. Foot off accelerator 4. Brake lights connected and functional With APCM turned off, use an NGS Tester to determine if there are any brake or clutch pedal fault codes.

What causes the PTO Control output to not work on my VISTEON AUXILIARY IDLE Control Unit?
    • A
      Amy JohnsonAug 30, 2025
If the PTO Control output on your VISTEON Control Unit does not work, check the PTO Upper Limit. If it is set too low, the PTO will turn off too soon or not activate at all. Also, check the PTO Lower Limit; if it's programmed below normal engine idle speed (approximately 650 RPM), the PTO will not activate at all.
