4.8.1 Configuring the Inhaler Test
Before using the Inhaler test:
1. Connect the Vitalograph Intrac to the PC via USB.
2. Select Tools > Spirometer Device > Intrac from the Main Menu.
4.8.2 Performing an Inhaler Test
On first use of the Inhaler Test:
1. Once the required subject has been selected from the list, select Test > Inhaler
Test or click on the Inhaler Test button.
2. On first use, no user defined inhaler configuration has been setup. Select a
sample profile from those listed in the Select Inhalation Device window and click
Next to calibrate the device. Alternatively, to setup a new configuration, click
Cancel to exit out of the Select Inhalation Device window and select Tools >
Advanced from the Main Menu. In the Inhaler section, click Manage.
3. To setup a configuration, click New Configuration and enter a name for the
configuration in the label field. Complete configuration by entering the values
appropriate to the Inhaler device being used.

o BHT - Breath hold time (s)
o tT0 - Time to lower flow threshold (ms)
o tT1 - Time to upper flow threshold (ms)
