Parameter Description
Streaming
Protocol
Select the required protocol.
IP
Address
Type the channel IP address.
Port Type the port number.
ULL mode Ultra Low Latency decoding (optional license required) ensures optimal
latency when paired with MGW Ace Encoder (16ms glass-to-glass using its
HEVC channel) or MGWDiamond. It also improves significantly the latency
when used with other encoders.
ULL Mode is available in UDP TS only.
For optimal performance, set MGW Ace Encoder profile to “Ultra Low
Latency” within its HEVC channel, or select Low Latency mode in MGW
Diamond HEVC or H.264 channel.
Ultra Low Latency limitations
The stream forwarding feature isnot available
AES
Encryption
Select if you wish to decode an encrypted channel. The AES key value must
be entered: 128 or 256 bit.

For RTP ES (RTSP) channel:
In addition to the parameters specified in the table above, type the path of the SDP file
residing on the RTP server (Stream Name).
You must clickApply for the new settings to be saved.
Zixi Channels
The Zixiprotocol supports two modes:
Zixi Pull
Zixi P2P: Point-to-Point streaming directlyfrom a VITEC encoder.
When streaming using Zixi Pull mode, the MGW Ace Decoder OG pullsvideo from one of the server’s inputs. Enter the
VITEC Playout Server or Zixi Server IP addressand Stream ID / Password for the associated input (do not attempt to
create a new output on the server).
When streaming directlyfrom an encoder to the MGW Ace Decoder OG, use Zixi P2P mode and enter the stream port
to match the encoder settings.
