Google Lens
Google Lens is a free tool that can help you to:
• Investigate what you see
• Perform actions on text
• Search for similar products
• Identity plants and animals
• Learn more about books and media
• Scan codes
…and more.
Tap the Google Lens icon and it will start to try to identify what is
in the photo. While it is trying to figure out what is in the image,
dots will appear across the image. After it has completed its
work, Google Lens will show you the results at the bottom of
the screen.
To take a picture
The screen acts as the viewfinder. First position the object or
landscape in the viewfinder, touch icon to take the picture
which will be automatically saved.
To shoot a video
Touch the Video mode icon in the camera screen, then touch
Recording button to start recording a video.
Touch to take the picture which will be automatically saved.
Touch to pause video recording and touch to continue.
Touch to stop recording. The video will be automatically
saved.
