Reset app preferences
Touch RESET APPS to reset all apps settings, including disabled
apps, app notifications, background data restrictions for apps, etc.
Erase all data (factory reset)
This erases all of your personal data from internal phone
storage, including information about your Google Account, any
other accounts, your system and application settings, and any
downloaded applications. Resetting the phone does not erase
any system software updates you’ve downloaded or any files
on your microSD card, such as music or photos. If you reset the
phone in this way, you’re prompted to re-enter the same kind of
information as when you first started Android.
When you are unable to power on your phone, there is another
way to perform a factory data reset by using hardware keys. Press
the Volume up key and the Power key at same time until the
screen lights up.
11.15.8 Multiple users
Allow multiple users on the same device, with custom settings for
each user. To manage users:
Touch on the Quick settings bar to get to Settings.
Touch System > Multiple users.
Here the admin is displayed as well as a Guest option and Add
user option. Tap “You” or “Guest” to switch between users.
To add a new user, touch Add user and follow the prompts to
set up a new user.
To delete a user, touch besides the user and touch Remove
user > Delete.
11.16 Software updates
Software updates allow you to download new software for your
device, with the intention to improve the user experience and
product performance.
