19. AUTO POWER OFF FUNCTION
The DMM turns off automatically after 15 minutes if no button or rotary control is operated. This
function protects the battery, saves battery power and extends the operating time.
This function will work only if the DMM is powered by batteries. The symbol will show on the
display when the function is operating.
The Auto-power-off function is deactivated when the interface is activated so that the data connection
is not interrupted. This function remains inactive until the interface is switched off again.
You may press and hold the SHIFT / SLEEP button (16) to switch the DMM to sleep mode directly.
This is possible during both battery operation and mains operation.
To reactivate the DMM after shutdown, use the rotary control or press the SAVE/SERIES LOG
button (3) / Low Imp. 400 kȍ button (11).
The auto power off function can be deactivated by setting. Follow the below steps to activate /
deactivate the function:
1. Press and hold the LOAD/SETUP button (13) to enter setup menu.
2. Press the LOAD/SETUP button (13) until display shows “SETUP 04 APO”.
3. Press the Ź/ – button (12) or Ż / + button (15) to select “On” (activate) or “OFF” (deactivate).
4. Press and hold LOAD/SETUP button (13) to save the setting and quit the setup.
20. “VOLTSOFT” SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
• Insert the CD into the DVD drive of your computer.
• The installation will start automatically. If not, please go to your CD directory, and open the
installation fi le “autorun.exe”.
• Select your desired language from German, English and French.
• Follow the instructions on the dialog box, select the destination for the installation and complete
the installation.
• For further information, please refer to the operating instructions on the CD provided.
• The enclosed software is the “Voltsoft” standard edition. The professional version (“Voltsoft PRO“
data logger software, item no. 101333) is an optional item which you can purchase separately.
If you purchase the professional version, you will get the license key. Follow the steps in the
“Voltsoft” user manual, to register and upgrade your software to the professional version.
• “Voltsoft” software updates to the latest version of the “Voltsoft” program are available when the
program is running and the Internet is connected; or check for the latest “Voltsoft” update via
“http://www.conrad.com”.
