Basic operation
Telephone directory
Edit a directory entry
Follow the steps in Review/dial from the directory (above) to reach
the entry to be edited.
Press
SEL to enter number edit mode.
Press MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and delete numbers, or press
CID or DIR to move the cursor to the number you wish to change.
Then re-enter the correct number(s) by pressing the dialing keys (0-9).
Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to add pauses if necessary.
Review/dial from the directory
Press MENU, with DIRECTORY is displayed, press SEL. With
REVIEW in the rst line, press SEL.
- OR -
With the handset in idle, press to enter the directory review
mode. The rst directory entry will be displayed.
Scroll through the directory
entries using and or enter the
rst character of the name to be searched (using the digit keys).
Continue navigating using the or scroll keys, until you reach
the entry to be dialed.
Press
or SPEAKER to dial the number.
When reviewing
the directory,
the second line
of the display
will show the
number, up to
16 digits. For
numbers longer
than 16 digits,
only the rst 13
digits will be
shown. Press
*
or # to scroll the
phone number
to see the
additional digits.
If there are no
entries in the
directory, when
it is accessed,
DIRECTORY
EMPTY will
display.
