Call screening
To screen a call at the telephone base:
If the answering system and call screening are on (see Call screening on page 33),
the announcement and the incoming message broadcast at the telephone base while
the call is answered by the answering system.
Options while a message is being recorded:
Press /VOLUME or /VOLUME to adjust the listening volume.
Press /STOP to temporarily turn off the call screening.
Press /PLAY or /VOLUME to temporarily turn on the call screening if it is set
to off.
Call intercept
If you want to talk to the person whose message is being recorded, press on
the handset.
