WARNING When removing the centrifuge and accessories from use for disposal you have to
clean and if necessary, disinfect or decontaminate the entire system. In doubt contact the VWR
customer service.

For the countries of the European Union the disposal is regulated by the European Union’s Waste Electrical
& Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012/19/EU.

VWR recommends having the centrifuge and accessories serviced once a year by an authorized service
technician.
VWR offers inspection and maintenance contracts for this centrifuge where VWR service technicians
perform the following operations:
• Check the suitability of the set-up site;
• Rotor inspection;
• Check the rotor chamber;
• Check the unit;
• Check the drive;
• Check the compressor;
• Verification of electrical system safety;
• Complete test run.
Before service, centrifuge and rotors should be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated to ensure full and
safe inspection can be completed.
