Proper Orientation of Air Cleaner Cover
10 Check the air intake hose for cuts, nicks, cracks,
etc., and the hose clamps for tightness.
Fuel Filter
Clean and inspect the fuel lter screen after every
50 hours of service. Replace if damaged. Service
the fuel lter as follows:
Fuel Shut-Off
Valve
Fuel Filter and
Sediment Bowl
Fuel Filter and Fuel Shut-off Valve Location
IMPORTANT: Service the fuel lter screen only in a
clean area where the fuel lter components will not
be contaminated by any dust and dirt.
DANGER
Gasoline is extremely ammable and can
be highly explosive. To minimize danger:
Use an approved fuel container for gas-
oline.
DO NOT allow open ames or sparks
while performing maintenance or refuel-
ing; DO NOT smoke while working with
fuel.
Wipe up spilled gasoline immediately and
completely.
1. Close the fuel shut-off valve.
2. Loosen sediment bowl and remove lter screen
and gasket. Replace lter screen if damaged.
3. Remove any sediment, wipe clean and reinstall
assembly.
4. Open the fuel shut-off valve.
