6.3.2 Gas heating
(where the gas system is tted)
• Rotate selector (A) to position 1;
• open the gas valve (B) on the mains;
• hold down the push button (C) or the knob (D) and,
at the same time, press the on button (E);
• once the ame ignites, hold down knob (C) or the
knob (D) for a few seconds, to allow proper activation
of the thermocouple;
• then check through the window (F) that the ame
has ignited;
• wait for the operating pressure indicated on the
gauge to reach the working value of 0,1-0,12 MPa
(1-1,2 bar);
• in models where the knob (D) is present, it is possible
to adjust the gas using the same knob (D): to increase
it turn clockwise, to decrease, turn counter-clockwise.

6.3.3 Electrical heating + gas

• Proceed as indicated in the next paragraph;
• after having checked that the ame is ignited, rotate
selector (A) to position 2. In this way the boiler heat-
ing element is powered and operating pressure will
be reached more quickly;
• wait for the operating pressure indicated on the pres-
sure gauge to reach the working value of 0,1-0,12
MPa (1-1,2 bar);
During the machine heating stage (approx. 20 minutes), the vacuum
regulator valve will release steam for several seconds until the valve
itself shuts o.
Never start up the gas system with an empty boiler.

Switch the machine o through the switch or the
main selector.
