14 Thermoblock descaling

The wash request is activated after 100 coffee
deliveries. Performing the required washing resets
the counter.

During washing, never open the unit lever.
!
At the end of the washing procedure, the counters
will be reset and the warning will disappear.
13 Wash
When the button LED (6) ashes (rapid ashing),
the machine requires a washing cycle for the cor-
responding unit.
To wash the unit, proceed as follows:
• position a large pitcher under the spout;
• lift and lower the lever of the unit;
• press and hold button (6) for 5 seconds, the cor-
responding LED goes o;
• check that the unit lever is closed, then press
button (6) again within 10 seconds to start the
process, the corresponding LED ashes;
• after dispensing 5 times, the rst washing stage
will end, the LED of button (6) keeps ashing;
• insert the suction tube in a 0.5 liters of clean water
and press button (6) again;
• press button (6) again;
• wait for the performing of the rinse indicated by
the ashing of button (6) LED.
If the procedure is interrupted by turning o
the machine, the warning will reappear at the next
restart.
The washing request does not block the normal
use of the machine, which can continue to dispense
coee drinks. However, we recommends running
the washing cycle whenever the warning appears.
14.1 Procedure
After the
passage of 900
liters of water
(for both dis-
pensers), the
machine will
signal the need to carry out the descaling cycle through
the ashing LEDs of buttons (3) and (6) on both panels.
For the descaling cycle, perform the following steps:
• verify that there are no pods in the units;
• turn o the machine with the switch;
• place a large pitcher under all spouts and make sure
the levers of all the units are closed;
• remove the lter and ll the tank with a solution of
125 ml of "Puly Descaler" and 550 ml of water at room
temperature;
• replace the tank correctly in place;
• turn on the machine while holding down button (3)
on the right hand panel, until the LEDs of buttons (3)
and (6) go o;
• press button (3) again within 10 seconds to start the
procedure, the LEDs of buttons (3) and (6) of both
panels ash slowly;
• the machine performs 5 deliveries with a break of 15
seconds between each other;
• the machine pauses for ve minutes, to allow the de-
scaling agent to work;
• after this rst phase, the LEDs of buttons (3) and (6)
ash quickly;
• remove and wash the tank with warm water, place the
lter back inside it, and then ll it with clean cold water
and put it back in place;
• press button (3) on the right hand panel to start the
rinse;
• wait for the rinse to be completed (additional dispens-
ing), the LEDs of buttons (3) and (6) on both panels
ash slowly.
