  If your WEN Saw motor won't start, first, examine the power cord, extension cord, power plug, and the outlet to ensure they are in good condition and properly connected. Do not use the tool if any cord is damaged. The outlet should be functional and have the correct capacity for the tool. Also, inspect and replace the carbon brushes if needed. Replacement carbon brushes (Part No. MM1015-123) can be ordered from wenproducts.com.

  If your WEN Saw is overheating, avoid forcing the tool; allow it to operate at its own pace and ensure the blade is appropriate for the cut type and workpiece. Select the proper extension cord, referring to "Electrical Information" on p. 8. Also, wear safety glasses and a dust mask, then blow any dust out of the motor housing vents.

  If your WEN Saw is making excessive noise or vibrating too much, make sure it is securely mounted to a flat, level work surface. Replace the blade if it is damaged. Also, ensure the blade flanges are flush against the blade and the arbor bolt is tightened completely.

  If the blade of your WEN Saw won't turn, clean the space between the blade and frame with compressed air to remove any sawdust or chips. Ensure that no chips are stuck. Also, disengage the spindle lock, moving the blade back and forth to confirm it is fully disengaged.
