Spark Plugs
Service spark plugs, clean gap or
replace as needed.
Spark plug gap: 0.8 + 0.05 mm
(0.031-+ 0.002 in)
Spark plug torque:
1.5 - 2.3 kg-m
(10.8 - 16.6 lb-ft)
Check plugs for damage and/or wear.
NOTE: Loc-tite "Anti-Seize"
applied to thread will retard
corrosion making future removal
easier.
High Tension Leads
Check leads for clean and secure
terminal ends. Resistance value of
high tension lead wire is 410 ohms
per inch of wire.
NOTE: When removing leads from
'- __ / spar k plugs, be sur e to pull at
the plug cap, not at the high
tension lead.
Ignition Coil (Resistance Check)
Plug Gap

1. Resistance value of primary coils is 0.8 + 0.2 ohms.
