Cleaning the Globe
1. Press the Empty buon to cycle the Globe clockwise, which will allow the lier to
fall through the Waste Po and into the Waste Drawer for easy disposal. Sweep any
leover lier toward the Waste Po. Then, press either Cycle or Reset to return the
Globe to the Home position. Ensure that all lier has been removed from the Globe—
wet lier turns into messy clay!
2. Turn the Lier-Robot OFF and unplug the unit.
3. Open the Bonnet: Press and hold the buons on both sides of the Bon net, then li and
rotate the Bonnet to its open position.
4. Remove the Globe: Using the handle, li the Globe o the Base.
5. Remove the Carbon Filter.
6. Clean the Globe with Lier-Robot cleaner spray or wipes, or with water and a mild
soap. There are no electronic compo nents in the Globe that can be damaged by soap
and water. If the Globe has become extremely diy, it can be soaked and cleaned
with a water hose.
7. Let the Globe dry completely before reassembling it to the Base and closing the
Bonnet (see page 27).
For a quick touch-up, you can use Lier-Robot cleaner wipes or a disposable towelee
to wipe the inside and upper half of the Globe (without removing the lier). You can also
manually rotate the Globe to a position where the lier is behind the screen, providing access
to the Flexible Globe Liner suace for spot cleaning. The Lier-Robot can then be used
almost immediately, since drying is nearly instantaneous.
Lier-Robot cleaner spray and wipes can be ordered at lier-robot.com.
