Pergola SO! | User manual
5.3. Storm preparedness
The SO! is optionally equipped with a wind sensor wich will make sure that the louvres and screens will
go in “storm modus” in case of increased wind. However despite this safety feature you have to prepare
your pergola manually in case of extreme wheather forecasts. The system can’t react during power
failures or if certain sensor settings have been manually changed.
The louvred roof
Open the louvres a little bit so the wind can flow through, but they don’t exceed the frame.
The screens
Make sure that all screens are completely raised.
Ambiente
In case of a motorized Ambiente or a manual Ambiente with wind protection: op the louvres a little bit
to let the wind pass.
In case of a manual Ambiente without wind protection: the louvres will open themselve in case of
extreme winds.
Glass or wood panels
Slide the panels together to one side and tie them up to a pole.
Curtains
It is recommended to remove the curtains before a storm. If this is not possible, tie them up to a pole.
5.4. Repairs or expansions:
Only components indicated by the manufacturer may be used.
Repairs that have not been carried out by a dealer are not safe and cannot guarantee that the
system works properly.
When using different components, the installer and the end user will always lose their right to warranty
during the warranty period.
A screen is not a supporting element and may not serve as the foundation for other structures.
Minor adjustments, repairs, or modifications can be made to the awning. Ask your dealer about the
options:
For example, replacing fabrics.
Or installing automatic controls, radio controls.
