8.4 Start-up after maintenance work
Clean the outside of the gear reducer.
Assemble all safety devices.
Do a test run, before re-releasing the machine for operation.
8.5 Malfunction list (troubleshooting)
Seek an immediate solution if you notice oil loss, increased noise during operation or
higher operating temperatures.

9 Dismantling
Please observe the instructions in the „General Safety Instructions” in section
3.3.1.
9.1 Preparation
Shut down the machine in which the gearbox is installed.
Make sure that it is possible to dismantle the gearbox without the risk
of damage to the entire machine.
Before starting work, disconnect the machine from the mains.
9.2 Disassembling the gearbox
For gearboxes with motor mounting, disconnect the electrical connections
of the motor.
Secure the gearbox so it cannot fall.
Release the screws connecting the gearbox to the machine.
Remove the gearbox from its position with great care, so as to safeguard
the gearbox and adjacent parts against damage.
