Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
Burn hazard!
Some tools become hot during operation. You could burn yourself.
− Always let them cool off completely before cleaning!
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.
− Never submerge the multifunction-tool in water.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improperly cleaning the multifunction-tool and the tools may lead
to damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like.
After every use
1. Before cleaning, pull the mains plug

out of the socket.
2. Let the tool cool off completely.
3. Unlock the extractor line

and take it off the multifunction-tool (see fig. M).
4. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the extractor line, the housing and the
inside thread

5. Wipe the housing off with a damp cloth if heavily soiled.
6. Attach the extractor line to the multifunction-tool again.
After every eight hours of operation
1. Unlock the extractor line

and remove it.
2. Use commercially-available universal oil to oil the moving parts of the tool holder

3. Attach the extractor line to the multifunction-tool again.
