2. Use the Allen wrench to tighten the Allen head screw. The washer is not required
to mount the sanding plate.
3. Place the sanding sheet

on the sanding plate so that they are aligned.
Push firmly so that the Velcro backing holds in place.
Operation
Getting started
1. Make sure that the multifunction-tool has been properly prepared as described in
the chapter “Preparing the multifunction-tool”.
2. Connect the multifunction-tool to a mains socket.
3. Switch the extractor on.
4. Use the On/Off switch

to switch the multifunction-tool on.
5. Use the speed control

to adjust the speed (see fig. F).
Set the speed control to level 1 for low vibration (oscillation) and to level 6 for intense
vibration (oscillation). Make sure that you use the correct speed for the work material
or test various speeds on the work material to determine the correct one.
6. Hold the multifunction-tool up to the work piece.
You can now process the work piece.
Finishing work
1. Take the multifunction-tool out of the work piece.
2. Use the On/Off switch

to switch the multifunction-tool off.
3. Switch the extractor off.
4. Pull the mains plug

out of the socket.
